Toronto, ON January 29, 2008 -- Daymak is pleased to announce the success of another Toronto Green Event in the Naked Ape Party. “The event helped raise awareness, fun and funds for the David Suzuki Foundation” stated Tara MacLean, the Naked Ape organizer and one of the evening’s performers.
Daymak was pleased to have one of their popular Gatto Electric Ebike on the auction block with other items including a signed Wayne Gretzky jersey and autographed Sarah McLachlan guitar. ‘It was definitely an exciting evening, the live auction had a ton of action, especially when the Gatto was rolled out’ says Aaron Binder, marketing manager with Daymak. “With previous items being auctioned off with gusto, bidding for the electric scooter went like a firestorm of action.”
The sold-out event proved to be a huge success with over $25 000 being donated to the David Suzuki Foundation. With more events like this planned on the horizon, Daymak is happy to support the Toronto Green movement and every other commuter with a full compliment of Electric Bicycles, Scooters and Mobility vehicles.
